The Black Parade

Heya, umm I have to go back to school tomorrow so I thought I'd make the best of my last day of freedom. There's this and a big sketch of Snake and Otacon from MGS, but I felt this had to be finished today. I FINALLY got my The Black Parade Is Dead dvd from my friend so I watched it and drew this. The idea was that these two women are part of the parade, and they both show how they lived and died in the way they look; the beautiful girl on the left lived in luxury, until she was poisoned by a lover; the girl on the right is seen as a skeleton because she lived a tough life, which she was freed from when she was shot in a battle field by a horde of arrows. I wanted to show that, yes, these people are dead, but that there's a lot of good around death, which I think is the one thing the album really conveyed to me. It took a while to get the skeleton girl right because I know very little about what bones go where and what they look like. Still not particularly happy with the banner (it should be darker I think) but I like how the girl on the left looks a bit like a 50s pinup girl. Anyway, hope you like it
